Synopsis

Walt falls in love with dance hall hostess Paula, but is embarrassed by her lack of culture and style. He breaks up with her: “I’m ashamed and disgusted! Synopsis

Farm girl Nancy visits her friend Grace in New York, and meets Corry. She falls in love and is jealous of other women who flirt with him, but he never makes a committment. Nancy goes home but returns to the city to fight for Corry’s love. He says “no man likes to be hunted and you were hunting me!” However, he knows she’s “a country girl” and “not a she-wolf!” and he loves her.

The Girl I Left Behind!

Synopsis

Jeff proposes to Susan but he’s haunted by thoughts of his former girlfriend Alice. They loved each other but he left her behind seven years before when he came to New York to become a writer. Susan tells Jeff to go home and see if he still loves Alice. Alice is happily married to an aspiring artist and doesn’t bear Jeff any ill will. Jeff goes back to Susan and they reconcile.

Synopsis

Irene admires an engagement ring and her college student boyfriend Greg takes a night job to buy it for her. However, they eventually drift apart. A year later, they meet and Greg says he’s now engaged to Vivian, so Irene gives him back the ring. Vivian is jealous and Greg has doubts about their relationship. Irene says Greg can have her back if he brings her the ring the next day. As the story ends, Irene waits for Greg to see if he has the ring or not...
