Synopsis
As a child, Lisa is "fat and clumsy" and grows up insecure, working "a dull, stupid job." Her only solace is painting. Meg makes friends with Lisa and arranges to sell her work, but takes credit for it and gives Lisa only a fraction of the money she makes. Art collector James buys Meg's work and apparently falls in love with her. However, he realizes Lisa is not only the real artist, but also the woman he loves.
Notes
The same story premise as "Listen, My Love" in Romantic Adventures (American Comics Group, 1949 Series) 9 (July-August 1950) except in the earlier story the protagonist is deaf, not just plain & pudgy, she's a sculptor not a painter, and the swindler is a man not a woman.
