Synopsis

Peggy drops out of high school and gets a factory job. She finds her new freedom fun at first, but when college student Ted interviews her for a project, he is shocked that she voluntarily left school and Peggy begins to regret her actions. Peggy dates Ted but feels he looks down on her and goes back to her factory boyfriend Mac. However, Ted explains he does love Peggy and urges her to return to school so they can have a better life together. She agrees.
