Teacher's Secret - The Teacher-Student Scandal

Synopsis

Commissioner Grundy thinks Eddie should fire one of the teachers who he thinks is courting one of his students. But Eddie tells a story of a similar case when he went to school where an 18-year-old high school senior fell in love with his 21-year-old teacher. Education commissioner Grundy suspects teacher John is courting student Jane. Mr. Wilson, the principal, tells Grundy the story of how high school senior Eddie was tutored by teacher Miss Lewis. They fell in love, and when Eddie returned from military service in World War II, they were married. Mr. Wilson reveals the truth to Mr. Grundy: he is Eddie and his wife Kathy is his secretary now.
