Synopsis

The Justice League of America uses the occasion of its third anniversary to tell Snapper Carr and Green Arrow about the formation of the League.

Notes

Features the origin and first case of the Justice League of America.

Most of the story from this issue is retold in issue #97; some of it redrawn, some pages reprinted directly (pages 6-17, 19 in this original are reprinted as pages 15-26, 28 in that issue).

The story was changed slightly; for instance in the original the final creature was turned into a "pile of slivers and splinters" by Wonder Woman (Flash says "destroyed"), while in the updated story it was "planed down to its bare essence", still clearly intact.
