Synopsis

The Legionnaires travel to the past to find out the story behind an ancient artifact which refers to a war between Earth and Krypton. The half that goes to Earth's past finds space travellers colonizing ancient Atlantis; the other half accompanies a group of Kryptonians who leave anti-scientific Krypton for Earth.

DC properly credits this story to Edmond Hamilton on the item, and Bob Hughes confirms the identification. We formerly had credited this story to Jerry Siegel. (March 2007) Lettering and inking credit from reprint in Legion of Super-Heroes Archives, The (DC, 1991 series) #4 (only John Forte credited for art on item).
