Notes

From page 2: 'On the cover: Maria Baillie, a J. Arthur Rank Starlet.' Baillie was a British actor who had a number of supporting roles in films such as 'Outpost in Malaya' also known as 'The Planter's Wife' (1952), 'Desert Adventure' (1953) and 'Up to His Neck' (1954). Joseph Arthur Rank (1988-1972) was a British industrialist who founded the Rank organisation, which owned film studios and cinemas.

This cover is a promotional image associated with 'The Planter's Wife', which was released in Australia around 13 May 1953.
