Runaway

Synopsis

Beth reflects that she's always been a coward. She meets Ray at the café and strikes up a romance. At first it's fine, then Ray works long hours during the summer invasion. Beth is lonely. She meets visitor Tom on the pier and agrees to meet again. So Beth has a problem—whatever happens, Ray or Tom or Beth will get hurt. Then she sees Ray and Tom coming towards her at the same time and she runs. But she has another problem—she has to stop running sometime.

Synopsis

Synopsis

The models arrive for the fashion show and—just in time—so do the dresses. Goldwater is impressed and offers funding, but Hickenborm wants time to consider whether to market the clothes. Steve suggests Tammy take the afternoon off and they drive to the coast and on to dinner. Steve give Tammy his first ever compliment and shows some anxiety about the deal, but quickly returns to defensiveness. Then Tammy discovers he can dance—with another girl. Why not her?

Synopsis

Sharon's a dancer and Simon's a producer, focused on their careers. They agree no wedding and a civilised goodbye when the time comes. Sharon's cousin Liz is marrying Drew; it was love at first sight. Sharon believes Liz is tying herself down. At the wedding, Sharon overhears Simon talking to Caroline. They'd met a month ago and he planned tell Sharon after the wedding. They say goodbye. The married couple are happy and Sharon realises she wants the same—someone to love and to loved in return. A friend of Drew takes her to the reception.
