Wandering wild man Rick wrecks his bike on the beach meeting Lyn. While Rick's bike is repaired, Lyn decides she likes him and decides she will tame him. When she meets the mechanic's girlfriend, she uses her influence to keep the bike out of action longer. She goes back for an extension and sees Rick picking up his bike. But Rick asks the mechanic to keep the bike longer and to tell Lyn it's not ready, if she asks. He then tells Lyn that summer is nearly over, so he'll get a job in town for the winter. Lyn keeps quiet about what she knows.
