Synopsis

Beautiful Lisa refuses to be tied down and treats boyfriend Mike badly. She lies about going home and goes out of town with Barry to a party, but Mike's best friend Steve is there. Mike accepts her apology. Then Mike has to go out of town to work on Lisa's birthday. She decides to invite Steve on a date and flirts with him. But Mike has really been planning a surprise birthday party and, when they arrive, Steve tells everyone about Lisa's behaviour. It is a final straw for Mike and Lisa is left alone to reflect on her behaviour and decide to change.

Synopsis

Terry bluntly tells Tina she is hiding from the world and he leaves for London. Tina returns to the farm and caring for Peter and Patsy. Soon after, Ian proposes. As Tina worries how to respond, Peter runs up and tells them that Patsy has run away from bullying at school and is missing. Tina finds Patsy, but the pair are stuck on a cliff ledge alone. Tina finds herself thinking of Terry and, by the time they are found, she knows that she must go to London too.

Synopsis

Hazel and Jan are inspired when they read about 'Teenager Special Smile Week'. Unfortunately, her boyfriend Ted's motorbike has been damaged and he thinks Hazel is laughing at a recent misfortune. Later, he believes Hazel is flirting and the pair fight. Ted refuses to take Hazel's phone calls and starts going out with Carol. The two girls find that a smile isn't enough and decide that action to help others is needed as well. Ted finds Hazel in the library helping out and joins them--he misses Hazel's crazy schemes.

Synopsis

After Julie sees she is being followed, the woman reveals herself as Julie's birth mother. Julie's life is in turmoil and she agrees with her foster mother to trial living with her birth mother. Julie is initially seduced by her birth mother's wealth, but misses her boyfriend Tony and foster family. When she decides to return, her mother is broken hearted, but agrees. As Julie reflects on her birth mother's loneliness, she decides to go back to her. The experience has brought her closer to Tony and she commits to maintaining their relationship.
