Batman

Batman (K. G. Murray, 1952 series) has been grouped as part of a series of titles with continued numbering.

Numbering for the UK version of Batman was the same as in Australia (unlike Superman). Initially, issues were printed in Australia in a single version for distribution in both countries. In early 1952, starting with issue #21, Batman began to be printed in the UK (by Morrison and Gibb, Edinburgh) for UK distribution (with a 6d cover price). Printing was again done in Australia when the full colour format was introduced in 1956, with separate covers printed for UK distribution. The key distinguishing difference is the 6d cover price.
